What to read to become a millionaire

What book lies on the bedside Elon musk? What kind of (only!) the book Steve jobs kept in your iPad? What is his advice to read Pavel Durov?

Outstanding entrepreneurs of the planet one and all love reading and are happy to share favorite authors. Don’t expect that immediately after reading you will fall billions, but a couple of interesting ideas for a start-up may appear.

Elon Musk

When Elon musk was asked how to learn how to build rockets, he said, “I read books”. Joking or not, but he really reads a lot and highlights a favorite book – a biography of Benjamin Franklin by Walter Isaacson. There is nothing surprising in the fact that outstanding entrepreneur interested in American politics – say, Franklin was incredibly multi-tasking. Just like Musk.

Steve Jobs

In various interviews, the founder of Apple as the favorite pieces was called “1984” Orwell, “Atlas shrugged”. However, judging by the article in the Huffington Post, the most important book for the jobs was “autobiography of a yogi”. And this book (only!) was uploaded to his iPad.

Bill Gates

Where did bill gates time to read SO much? He constantly shares what they read, creates the seasonal lists of interesting books and always happy to recommend something to read. His favourite writer is Steven Pinker, and favorite books from this author two “Best in us” and “Education today”.

Like all people in this list, the young entrepreneur Paved Durov loves to read (coincidence? I don’t think). One of the important books of the man who invented Vkontakte and Telegram, calls “Black Swan” by Nassim Nicholas Taleb.

One of my favorite books of the head of Pepsi&Co Indra Nooyi – “Path to nature” by David Brooks. She gave it to me two daughters. After reading it we discussed how it is important not only to build a career, but to create yourself as a strong and harmonious personality.

Founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos – one of those people that even the most useful non-fixtu prefer high-quality “literature”. So, my favorite book he calls “the rest of the day” Nobel prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro.
