The best Italian samples of children’s illustration at non/fictio№20

“Literature news” wrote earlier that in the current year the honorary guest of the International book fair of intellectual literature non/fictio№20 selected Italy. Therefore, from 28 November to 2 December at the Central house of artists exhibition, which collected the best samples of Italian children’s illustration.

Recall that in the spring annually, since 1963, in the Italian Bologna book fair is children’s literature, which attracts from all over the world nearly a thousand publishers, booksellers, writers, illustrators, artists, designers and translators. During the work it is visited by over 26 thousand visitors, 15% of which comes from abroad, and cover this event in the global book industry about 700 journalists from leading publications. At this time, exhibitions of books and illustrations, conferences, lectures, workshops, presentations, meetings with writers and illustrators of books and autograph sessions favorite authors.

The exhibition “Illustration of children’s literature. The best Italian samples” prepared by the Italian Institute of culture in Madrid, together with the Bologna exhibition centre – BolognaFiere, where for example the works of Italian illustrators will be possible as they changed the design of children’s books.
