In many of his works he addresses the issue of time, its properties, its features and its interactions with human life,” said the father of Marina Chernysheva-Granin, Director of the Foundation for the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage of Daniil Granin.
Such his works as “This strange life”, “Another notable track,” “Flight to Russia”, “the place for the monument” one way or another connected with the theme time. The word “time”, the researchers found, occurs in his writings more often than other writers. At the meeting there were favorite motto Daniil Aleksandrovich: “Never worry about the past, never be afraid of the future and always be happy.” This rule he has followed all his life, while remaining inwardly free man, whose word was always true for millions of his readers.

In the discussion of the creative phenomenon of Daniil Granin together with the literary critics took part representatives of science – mathematics, physics, biologists, for whom it was fundamentally important that the writer with the first of his works have argued the theme of morality in science. Attention was drawn to the fact that many of the works Granik, written during the years of militant atheism, imbued with biblical allusions.
