Presented the award “Educator”

In Moscow presented the award “Educator”, which celebrates the best popular science books in the Russian language.

In the nomination “the Humanities” was awarded to Sergey Zotov, Mikhail Maizuls and Dilshat Harman, author of the acclaimed book “Suffering middle Ages”. Interestingly, in the reader vote, which took place in the public “Obrenovac”, Zotov, Maizels and Harman also won. And one audience choice award took a mathematician Alexei Savvateev with his book “Mathematics for humanists. Live lectures”.

In the category of “Natural and exact Sciences” was won by biologist Sergei Yastrebov, the author of “From atoms to the tree: an Introduction to the modern science of life”.

First prize was awarded in the nomination “Educator.digital”. Here, the jury selected two winners – Leonid Mlechina and his project “the history of the Leonid Mlechina” and Michael Sagara, who founded the Studio “History of the future”.

We will remind that the award was established in 2008, the Foundation “Dynasty”, and from 2016, the supported organization Zimin Foundation.
