A bronze memorial plaque was constructed at the initiative of the Russian military historical society
In a solemn ceremony at the Moscow aviation Institute (MAI) unveiled a commemorative plaque to the writer-satirist Mikhail Zadornov, who passed away in November 2017.
As reported in the press service of the University, the Board installed on the facade of the faculty, which used to be called “aircraft Engines”. His once graduated from the satirist.
A bronze memorial plaque was constructed at the initiative of the Russian military historical society. Its authors are sculptors Denis Stretovich and Timur Yurchenko.
“MAI is proud of its graduates, and Mikhail is one of those people that will associate our University. The tradition and the atmosphere of creativity that exist today in the MAI, formed under the strong influence of Mikhail Nikolayevich. I am sure that his memory remain not only in this plaque, but in the hearts of those who studied and worked, was brought up on his work and attitude to life”, – said at the opening rector of the University Mikhail Pogosyan.
MAI also opened a photo exhibition devoted to the satirist.
Recall that on the death of Mikhail Zadornov became known on 10 November 2017. He was 69 years old. Comedian for a long time was treated for cancer.
