I mean, and the works of Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Bunin, Kuprin. Any of the works so far, in my opinion, is not just relevant, but represents a masterpiece of human thought.

Medvedev himself admitted that he sometimes reads the works of modern literature.

“I find them very interesting”, — said the head of the Cabinet.
