At the end in the Kaliningrad region the regional contest “Literary tourism”, whose goal was the development of a creative literary tours, and virtual tours and introduction of new forms of work of libraries, were sent over 20 works.
The beauty of the amber land has inspired many writers: here Tvardovsky finished “Basil terkina” and wrote poems Joseph Brodsky and Kristijonas Donelaitis created their tales Ernst Hoffmann and the social drama Sudermann Hermann, and Thomas Mann wrote his Novella “Mario and the magician”. Soviet and Russian writers Rudolf Jackman, Vsevolod Austen, Sergey Snegov, Yuri Kuranov, Yuri Ivanov, Konstantin Badigin also Kaliningraders, who is known in Russia and abroad.
Held in the Kaliningrad regional scientific library with the support of the Ministry of culture and tourism of the region and the Regional tourism information center, the contest showed the potential of smart tourism, a key focus of which will be literary history. The institution noted that the Grand Prix was awarded to the staff of the library named after Sergei Snegova for developing trip “sniegowski places”, which is dedicated to the life and works of the famous science fiction writer, author of the novel “Men like gods”.
First place went to head of rural library Znamensk Angelica Chashechnikova. This village is the birthplace of the famous Russian writer, the laureate of the prize “Big book” Yuri Bugy. The winning work deals with the literary biographical tour “I am “corner tenant” of Russian literature.”
Second place was awarded to the staff of the library named after the city of Chernyakhovsk, which has developed a tour of “Roads of Anatoly Lunin,” on the Kaliningrad writer. In third place was the team of authors of literary and local history virtual tour “of literary and historical memorial places of Rausch-Svetlogorsk”. The Agency noted that all developed literary tourist routes will be special collection, which is going to release soon.
