In Sorrento, in southern Italy, the Amalfi coast is a monument to the writer Maxim Gorky. The ceremony was held on Saturday at Victory square.
The monument is a bust of Gorky on the column, was performed by the Russian sculptor Alexander Rukavishnikov. This was told by responsible for international relations at the municipality of Sorrento, Antonio Fiorentino, writes TASS.

In memory of him, are held there a joint action with the Moscow Institute of world literature named after Maxim Gorky Russian Academy of Sciences.
