Festival of national literatures will be held in Nizhny Novgorod

The third festival of national literatures of the peoples of Russia will be held from 3 to 5 November in Nizhny Novgorod on the square of Minin and Pozharsky.


Representatives of more than 40 national languages will arrive in the capital of the Volga region from 25 regions of Russia to conduct meetings, readings, lectures, concerts. The festival aims to represent and unite the richness and diversity of the culture and literature of our great country.

A feature of the celebration in 2018 will be a festival of national literatures of the peoples of Russia. The main venue will be the Nizhny Novgorod fair. At the festival the attention of Nizhny Novgorod will present the lecture program, the literary platform with the participation of national authors (presentations, meetings, round tables) as well as national folklore, the performances of storytellers and master class within the framework of the children’s program. The festival is a creative national collectives, who will also perform on the stage on the square of Minin and Pozharsky.

Special guests of the festival will be the poet Dmitry Vodennikov, literary critic and writer Lev Danilkin, the poet Maria Vatutina, chief editor of “Literary newspaper” Maxim Samsun, ethno-electronic collective of the Volga from Moscow.
